Cai Doi canal is one of the main canals of Nga Sau town, Hau Giang province with hundreds of turns of boats and barges back and forth each day. The large barges on the move to create surface waves combined with the high velocity in the area has caused landslides at many points along the two sides of the channel. With the annual irrigation fund is not big but must deal with many hot spots, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development - Hau Giang Department of Agriculture and Rural Development has decided to choose soft soft rock embankment to apply in local.

The soft embankment formed from Soft Rock Geotechnical Fields in Nga Sau, Chau Thanh, Hau Giang was one of the first embankments in the Mekong Delta to apply soft solutions to anti-erosion. The project was completed in 05/2016 after nearly one month of construction has ended landslide situation in the area.

After two months of construction completed

In December, 1974, the Department of Water Resources, the disaster control board of search and rescue Hau Giang province together with the AT & T unit re-examined the embankment to evaluate the effectiveness of the plan. After nearly one and a half years of operation, the embankment structure has achieved high stability. The sand filled material in the Soft Rock Soft Polymers after a period of contact with water has consolidated to help Bao become sure. Surface covering of the entire structure has retained a significant amount of silt and silt as conditions for the vegetation to develop as well as protect the shell from the effects of UV rays from the sun, It creates a friendly environment for the environment.

With these achievements, the Provincial Irrigation Department highly appreciated the achievements of the project and expected that in the coming time, the model will be replicated at other landslides in the province. Structured soft embankment by soft Rock Geotechnical Fields with low investment rate, fast construction time, environmentally friendly has proven to be a suitable new solution in the situation of landslide happening on more complex in all provinces in the Mekong Delta in particular and the whole country in general.
