GCL Bentofix® waterproofing membrane is designed with many advantages to replace natural clay (CCL) or Bentonite (BES) soil with high cost and difficult construction work.

GCL Bentofix® waterproofing membrane consists of a highly expandable Sodium Bentonite powder coated between two layers of geotextile that acts as a waterproofing layer. The main advantage of bentonite powder is the distribution of the surfactant and the ability of the waterproofing membrane immediately. When hydrolyzed and absorbed with water, the bentonite powder swells and forms a membrane with very low permeability. Even under high water column conditions and high loading, the Bentocix® GCL waterproofing membrane still ensures that hydraulic and hydraulic performance is significantly lower than that of CCL or BES. Another remarkable feature of the Bentocix® GCL waterproofing membrane is the addition of a layer of bentonite powder along the edges so that when applying the overlapping area, it will be sealed immediately without the need to spray bentonite powder over the area. .

By the method of needle-punching, the fiber fibers from the upper fabric layer through the Sodium Bentonite layer into the underlying fabric layer to form a waterproofing membrane with a great resistance to cutting, excellent resistance to slip and degree These are important technical parameters needed in any application. Subsequently, the heating process has made the fiber fibers permanently bonded to each other by thermal bonds, which minimizes the breakdown and increases the shear stress for the GCLs.
