Facing this situation, the People's Committee of Vinh Long province has approved the investment project of sanitary waste landfill No. 02 with an investment scale of about 2 hectares, ensuring service for about 2.5 years (capable of holding waste for up to five years). 2018).

Currently, after more than one month of construction, landfill No. 02 has completed the bottom layer. Accordingly, geotechnical materials including geotextile, HDPE membrane and GCL composite have been completed phase 01 of the project.

Materials continue to be collected at the site, ready for construction in the next stage.
