Mekong Delta Economic Cooperation Forum (MDEC - Hau Giang 2016) with the theme "Mekong Delta - Active integration and sustainable development" took place in Vi Thanh - Hau Giang from 11 until 15/07/2016.

The forum was coordinated by the South-West Steering Committee in collaboration with the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Ministry of Planning and Investment, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, the State Bank of Vietnam, the People's Committee of Hau Giang Province, , The People's Committees of Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, provinces and cities in the Mekong Delta (Mekong Delta) organize implementation.

The forum attracted 1,729 delegates from the central government, scientists, economists and leaders of the city. Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, the provinces, the Mekong Delta region attended.

There are 70 press agencies operating. Of which, there are 52 agencies and newspapers; 18 Central and local television stations, with more than 200 editorial reporters involved in the work.

Within the framework of the program, AT & T is honored to be invited by the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Hau Giang Province to introduce the application of new Soft Rock Slope Protection Technology to the delegates.
