Tan Cang - Phu Huu Port is a seaport located in the planning of seaport group No. 5, in the harbor area on the Dong Nai River. The location of the port is in Phu Huu Ward, District 9 and has good connection with the road connecting the Ring Road 2 and Ho Chi Minh - Long Thanh Highway through Nguyen Duy Trinh Street and Nguyen Thi Dinh Street (via Cat Port As well as well connected by inland waterways with deep water ports and port system, ICD in the rear.
Over time, the volume of goods gathered in Cat Lai port is growing, many roads such as Nguyen Thi Dinh, Mai Chi Tho, Hanoi Highway often overload with thousands of container traffic. On average, there are 16,000 - 17,000 trucks arriving and leaving at Cat Lai Port.
In order to solve this urgent situation, Sai Gon New Port Corporation decided to invest in upgrading Phu Huu Port in order to distribute and reduce the load to Cat Lai Port. The project is started in mid-2016 with the consultancy company is the investment and design consulting company No. 1 - directly under the Corporation Tan Cang - Ministry of Defense. The elevated elevation of Lot A1 has been one of the first deployed items of the project.
With reference to many options, along with technical support from AT & T's technical team, the design team decided to use geotextiles with a size of 1m x 1.3mx 0.3m after filling. Sand is the main structure of the plan. Geotextile materials of the Naue Group (Germany), and processing of bags directly by specialized machinery in Vietnam with the quality supervision of technical staff from the Naue Group (Germany).

Total volume of materials used in the project is 10,000 Soft Rock Geotextile ATT R601. Currently, the project is still implementing construction. With positive technical support from the AT & T unit from the sand and sewing to the location of the bag, the construction work is now ahead of schedule and is expected to be completed by the end of March 2017.
