Solid waste is a direct threat to human life and health.
According to statistics of the Vietnam Institute of Urban and Industrial Environment, over 80% of the landfills are not hygienic and have high environmental pollution risks.
Quang Nam is one of the first provinces in the country to be aware of the application of sanitary waste burial sites with effective waterproofing layers, especially the use of HDPE membrane.
Specifically, from the beginning of this year, the province has deployed many projects on treatment and burial of solid waste, such as Nam Giang Landfill and most recently Tay Giang Landfill. These works have been entrusted by AT & T's major contractors for the waterproofing category with the use of HDPE membrane.
