Tay Giang is a mountainous district of Quang Nam province with a population of more than 95% Co Tu, Thua Thien Hue province to the north, Laos to the west.

The Tay Giang garbage dump is part of the Atatin Waste Disposal Project invested by the Tay Giang District Construction Investment Project Management Unit in Quang Nam. Landfill is constructed for the purpose of treating domestic waste for the central district and neighboring communes.
